My little one loves this backpack. She is 2 years old and easily learned the "code" to open the piggy bank. She puts toys and decorations in it and keeps opening and closing it, no problem so far. He has a song button with about 4 different tunes that she loves to dance to. We're not really using it as a piggy bank yet, as coins are a choking hazard at this age. The straps feel solid and are adjustable. It's a bit heavy but my little one can carry it around with no problem. She dropped it several times and it survived. As soon as she saw it in the box she was impressed and this is her new obsession toy. The colors are fun and bright, and the animal's face is cute too.
