Although they hold the wires perfectly if left stationary, any torque applied to the rotary motion parallel to the table surface will cause these clips to straighten turn from the table. As a result, they're utterly useless if you're trying to handle a wire that doesn't go straight from the terminal to ground. I've tried using them to secure the mouse/keyboard cables where they exit in the middle/back of my desk, but even the slightest sideways pressure as they go towards my tower to the right of my desk will lead to get them resolved. I've tried both wider and narrower holes, but that doesn't help much because the black plastic is very slippery on a hard table surface. )
