I couldn't decide between Haiyanle and Haobaimei pillows as they seemed very similar in style, so I bought both. Haiyanle (this product) has clasps so you can unzip it to carry on your back on an airplane, so it's a bit more versatile in that regard. They are both made of the same material - soft plastic with a velvety surface. Both have excellent and usable inflation/deflation ports. Haiyanle (this product) measures 11.8 x 11 x 17, which is slightly shorter than Haobaimei (11.8 x 13.8 x 21.7). I felt like they rolled into their pockets (and with the exception of the detachable case) they were basically the same size. detachable lid and 391g with lid. Haobaimei claimed to weigh 350 grams, but I weighed 308 grams. So you save a gram of weight by choosing Haobaimei instead of open Haiyanle. My husband thinks he will prefer Haiyanle since he can open it and put it behind his back. I think I will prefer Haobaimei because the face hole is a little bigger and a little higher. Our next international trip is in a few months, so we'll test, swap and see!
