I was tired of changing the batteries in my battery operated window candles (let alone throwing them out) and my partner wasn't happy with the idea of having a bunch of candles all over the place plugged in, so I decided to try these solar powered ones. For the most part they work very well; We have them on the windows on the side of the house that gets a lot of direct sunlight during the day so they get a good charge. They emit a pleasant glow at night when there is enough sun during the day. The only thing is that the suction cup on one of the candles isn't the best so sometimes you have to press it against the window. I wish you could attach your own suction cups to hang them up.
