New umbrellas have holes after 10 minutes unpacking. Since they're marketed as kid-friendly and durable, I expected them to last longer. I think we'll try patching them back together just frustrated. Update: We sealed both sides with clear tape and also had to reinforce one of the loose connectors but my girls were happy! You play with them inside the house all the time, imagining a gondola ride and a sudden downpour and a few times in front of the house when it actually rained. So far, so good. Maybe a case was just hiccupping, or they were playing too roughly; They've held up ever since so I'm updating my rating to 4 stars.
