After 7 weeks in the hospital I had a scaly, tight complexion. I had to have something. I had to apply a collagen/silver nitrate swab to a post-op wound. Doctors explained that this helped fill the wound by encouraging new skin to grow. Well if that helped me with my surgery I figured a collagen moisturizer/cream would work well for the skin. It was. It really helped eliminate that tough look and get rid of flaky skin as a result of neglect. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and plan to buy more.
