Aprilskin Artemisia Hydra Gel Cream is best for people with combination to oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin in my opinion. While the gel medium is moisturizing and lightweight, it may not be soft enough for those with dry skin. I am in my 40's with sensitive combination skin prone to hyperemia. It's a slightly off-white water gel, perhaps the intended shade of green. It spreads beautifully and melts right into the skin without being greasy, sticky, sticky or heavy. I no longer have shiny or super matte. I have not used this with more intense acne treatments that can be drying. Instead, I use it at night when I'm taking a break, wash my face, maybe put on a mask, and I take a dime size of it and put it on my face and neck. At best, I've used it alongside a BHA conditioner or spot treatment. But not benzoyl peroxide or Differin. I would like to use something creamier in this case. Otherwise, this is a wonderful everyday Hydra Gel Cream. There is no noticeable smell, I like the use and the feel and it is sufficiently moisturizing. Works well with my sunscreen and doesn't pill or flake.
