Good belts. The buckles are stamped (and thin) black metal, painted black so they may fade some of the color over time - we'll see. Loops with little maneuvering to put on the strap but pulling back through the loops for removal is difficult as the back of the metal end is wider than the front end so it snags on the fabric of the loops. hitting the tip with a hammer might help to flatten something, but i don't think that's what the manufacturer had in mind, but web straps are just the thing for oldies with variable waists!
