Review on 🐱 Instinct Limited Ingredient Cat Food: Natural Grain-Free Dry Diet for Cats by Sharon Griffin

Unfortunately the new formula contains synthetic vitamin K, menadione sodium bisulfite complex and one of my cats was allergic to it. So for years we fed the old formula without this controversial ingredient. This was always discussed with my Siamese. Then Instinct released a new formula. Btw we don't like the new bag design but damn it's her favorite dry food so we bought some big bags. The new formula has resulted in one of our cats stopping eating all of her soft food and going crazy over it. He actually started swallowing and scratching it, which was weird, and after a few weeks he started pulling out all his fur. I wrote Instinct to find out what the differences were and then checked it out on several websites. I had no idea synthetic potassium was so bad for cats and dogs. Also, this is meant to be a limited ingredient for pets prone to allergies or food intolerances, so why add this? Terrible and very embarrassing. I stopped feeding him and found an alternative which luckily started to clean up. Do your own research and see for yourself. It's an unnecessary ingredient, most likely added to extend shelf life, but more importantly, the food is now misrepresented and not of the same quality. Too bad. Sorry for the bad photo, but you can see that the fur is growing back. He was bald on his back and it was so uncomfortable to look at. Thank goodness he quit and we caught him before it became a habit that couldn't be broken.
