Review on Uvex S2730 Astrospec Ultra Dura Hardcoat by Devin Jirsa

I bought my first UVEX protective lens in 1994 for use in a dental practice. It's simply THE BEST! Lenses are interchangeable: from transparent to specular and smoky. I use Clear when I speed skate or roller skate indoors and a mirror when I ride outside. I recently had LASIK eye surgery and instead of the cheap glasses the eye clinic provided me, I used UVEX tinted lenses. The fit is great and the adjustable headband is another nice feature. The protective function of the lens is excellent. On several occasions during dental restorative procedures, the cutting edge of a high speed dental handpiece (bur) broke and bounced off the lens. The pair I just bought was a "replacement". I just don't want to do without UVEX anymore. Robert M. Johnson, RDA, PhD
