Pretty soft, put it on the bed and tried it out right away, I don't want to toss and turn. But I would like it to be wider. I ordered 60x80 20 pounds because I'm 72 inches tall so I wanted the largest. But it only goes to the edges of my queen bed. (See photos) The color is a little different from the picture, but it's not a big deal.
