New, ready to use K10 arrived without Android OS. Rather, it has a command line interface with all characters in Chinese. I need to have this repaired or sent back but after 20 minutes of waiting (on the Dragontouch customer support phone) I was told to email. They might have said so right away. Edit: End of day one - no one answered my issue. To edit. 2: 4th business day after receipt (and 6th day after receipt): Received email from customer service offering to replace the device. Revolution. In the meantime, I asked an acquaintance who can read Mandarin for help. He searched through the multi-level menus and found the "Restart" option. Booted Android operating system. Apparently the Chinese language menu was used to test components, with each line testing a different component. Their technology is to "reboot" the tablet before putting it in the box (for shipping). They skipped this step and sent the tablet to sleep mode, which woke up in the test menu. I have changed my overall rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The tablet works well.
