You need it best in continuous lighting
The cord you usually get with an iPhone doesn't curl up well on its own. I've had it fall out of my purse or get tangled many times. It was wonderful. I usually travel with my cable and it's incredibly helpful to keep it neat and tidy. I highly recommend.
