I took it for 6590 and did not regret a penny. I use it for PS4, you can connect it to the gamepad via a mini jack 3.5 mm, you can connect it via USB to the console itself. As for 7.1, I can’t say because there’s nothing to compare with (it seems like it only works in PC because the indicator on the card with PS 4 is off), but the positioning is clearly audible. I think that 7.1 is more marketing, but the fact that the function seems to be superfluous will not be. If you are looking for a gaming headset with good sound in games and want to enjoy quality music, this is the perfect option + good design.
