Review on 🎮 BINBOK Switch Controller: Turbo Vibration, 6-Axis Gyro & Non-Slip Design Gamepad by Dipp Samrock

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rugged, high-performance controller with some third-party features

PROS:* Excellent build quality. Given the price, I was surprised that the controller didn't feel cheap at all.* The ergonomics of this design are comfortable for both me, with my huge hands, and my wife, with her tiny toy hands.* A/ The B/X /Y- Buttons are a little closer together than on an official Nintendo Pro controller, and I find them more reusable, albeit slightly, than Nintendo* buttons. * The handle grips are very durable and the rubberized grips keep your hands firmly on the controller. I've had this controller for a week now and the grips don't seem to be attracting dust.* Syncing the controllers with the included USB-C cable was flawless and effortless. I turned on the console, plugged in the controller and it was fixed immediately. No problem.* All buttons and triggers, including the thumb buttons, work seamlessly and transparently. If the gamepad is doing its job, using the buttons should make you feel like you're not learning anything new, and I think for the most part this gamepad does that pretty well.* The battery life on this gamepad is excellent. It comes with a charger, but I recommend fully charging it for a few hours before using it. CONS: *ZL/ZR triggers have very sharp, spiky edges on the underside. I didn't realize it at first until after playing for a while and realizing that most of the time I'm playing with my hands pointing towards the front of the controller and my index fingers were on or near the triggers and my middle fingers were gradually always more irritated by the spiky edge of the bottom of these shutters. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the Official Pro Controller has rounded, polished edges on the underside of the ZL/ZR, so it never crosses your mind that this could be an issue. This is a minor oversight in my opinion, but technically it's a minor design flaw that's easily fixed at home with a small nail file or maybe a magic eraser. That's my plan.* This controller will NOT wake up your console with the home button. He'll just sit there with his lights flashing and never turn on the console until it eventually shuts down. If you add your controller to the list, you will notice that the controller does not light up in this case. In this case, pressing the triggers will not sync your controller. It's a bit annoying, but for now, just like on the official controller, pressing the HOME button syncs it, so it's no longer a problem, just annoying because you expect to press L/R as instructed. Using the console.* The manual isn't very well translated, so some of the controller's subtle features, like the turbo function, are hard to understand for people like me who have never used them. If you don't miss this feature, it probably won't be a problem for you. Actually it's not a problem for me. * The thumb sticks are slightly stiffer than the original controllers, possibly because they feel a bit narrower. This is a problem when you need very precise controls for changing the point of view or very precise movements. It's difficult to get that precise control with narrower racquets. If you like games like Tetris, Dr. Also, if you're playing Mario or Puyo Puyo, you'll find that these sticks sometimes "bounce" when you release them. "Bounce" and you'll move backwards, missing your target. If they were just a little freer, it would make the world a better place. Consensus: I will be using this controller A LOT, especially when playing with my wife or friends. My wife and I were constantly switching controllers and playing a variety of games for HOURS and it seemed to work just as well in most of those games as it did on the official pro controller, with a few minor exceptions. I will polish the sharp edges on the ZL/ZR knobs. However, since this controller doesn't wake up your console, most of the time I just reach for my official pro controller as I need to turn the console on to play, so it's unlikely I'll do that and then grab another controller instead. .
