Review on πŸ“± Youtec for Surface Go 3 Case: Shockproof Rugged Folio Cover for Microsoft Surface Go 2/3 - 10 inch Tablet by Roger King

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Robust construction. Possibility of release unloaded.

Pros: - Good build quality - Rubber and plastic match well after installation. The plastic kickstand cover on the Surface Go does not close by itself, but fits perfectly with the rubber housing. It even snaps in place to lock it. - The pen holder feels a little tight at first but takes a little getting used to. - The cutout and space for the writing cover is just perfect. The writing cover fits snugly on the screen and attaches with a corner clip. Cons: The rubber clip on the corner that's supposed to hold the Type Cover in place only holds its own corner. (See picture) Holding it at an angle will partially open the other corner. It's not that important to be honest. But the space can let in random objects that can damage the screen when you put your Surface in your pocket. Especially if you don't have a screen protector installed. If your screen protector is a (thick) tempered glass version like mine, and you hold the surface by the edge (in tablet mode, during presentations, or while reading), the rubber edges that somehow grip the screen will push into the protector and lift look at them lightly. This will not loosen your profile, but the air bubbles will be clearly noticeable. Although they go back to normal if you use laptop mode. - The groove on the rubber edge for the charging cable is too thick. Remember to make sure the charging light is on when you plug it in. Otherwise, even a slight change in the cable angle will cause the magnetic tip to detach, allowing the Surface to charge.

Pros
  • Protective Shockproof Case
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
