This moisturizer is a lifesaver. I've never had anything that strong. A few months ago my skin was getting very dry and my usual moisturizers weren't enough and my skin was flaky. I had a sample of this that I got from Sephora and it was great. As soon as I ran out I ordered this larger size and I couldn't be happier! I applied a decent amount of this moisturizer at night and my skin recovered within a few days. There is no smell that I can single out. It's also not as greasy as some heavy moisturizers and didn't cause breakouts, which happened a bit with another one I've tried before. Another thing is that it is a very moisturizing cream so I used it at night. If your skin is very dry or you don't apply it liberally, it can also be used as a daytime moisturizer. absorbs quickly into the skin and does not cause irritation. I also think it would be great to use under makeup and give you the best chance of a smooth application. Eventually, once the colder months rolled around, I reverted to my regular nightly moisturizer (and handy because the pot was almost empty), so now I use what's left of it on any dry patches that crop up. In this case, a little goes a long way, so I'd say the value for money is amazing too!
