Very reasonably priced, this Grip n Rip spreader is exactly what my son was hoping for. Its durable rubber compound allows the batsman's forearm to press securely against the pad, much like it would be pressed against the racquet's handle, only with a narrow 1" opening. It is also very durable and convenient to use. Adjusting to the bat was a bit of a pain because it has to go over the bat; I used some dish soap to help it slide, but even that took some time and effort. Can't say yet, but removing it will probably be painful as well. No big deal as this spacer does what we hope it will. I put a photo of the spacer on my 12 year old son's racquet while he was playing the racquet (resulting in a hit). Much luck.
