Review on πŸ’† Achieve Flawless Skincare with Airless Bottles: Cosmetic Containers for Foundations by Lexi Mastandrea

Ideal hoses for travel

The only written review says they don't work so I wanted to make sure to post a review after filling a few and tested bottles . Here's what I've learned: 1. The thicker the product, the harder it is to get in without air pockets. CeraVe is a thick cream that I use for mild to moderate eczema. I filled four bottles with it. The first used a cosmetic spatula and tapped the bottle until the cream reached the bottom. It took forever! Then I pulled out an industrial syringe with an 18 gram "blunt needle" (actually just a hollow tube) and used it to inject the cream into the tubes. I still have air pockets but not as bad.2. Air pockets mean you're sitting there and won't come out until all the air is out. Not fun, so try to avoid those air pockets. Do not refill or overfill. The product should be almost to the top but just short of the neck of the bottle to make room for the cap. So you will almost always have a small air bubble at the top that needs to be removed before the product is dispensed.3. I'll have to find shortcuts soon. Lol my sunscreen and cream look the same in these tubes so I have to label them before I toss them in my purse. Overall I am happy with these tubes. I have plenty of empty containers left over when I travel again, but now I have what I need in tubes. I will update the information if I encounter any leak or other issues.
