This product is easy to use, just plug it in and it will heat up automatically. I also like the design of the compartment where you can put a spoon. It's just SUPER! The instructions say to pour some water in the box, not sure if it's an outer box or a food container. I poured water for both. As shown in the video, the box is a bit difficult to snap into place, but that's not a problem. The only problem is that it takes a relatively long time to heat up. It states that it typically takes 25 minutes to heat food to ambient temperature. I tested it at my dinner. I didn't put too much rice in it. The thermometer reads 107F after 15 minutes and it takes about 30 minutes to heat food to 145F. I don't think anyone would use it at home since you can just reheat food in the microwave and heat it up in 1-2 minutes, but this product will definitely come in handy when doing outdoor activities when reheating your own food is a must problem could be. Even after warming up, there is a slight smell of plastic. I think it will probably clear up after a few uses. I can't wait to use this food warmer when I go camping in the summer.
