Great product, small problem with the size

I love these saddles. They are very soft, easy to use and have a strong velcro that keeps our little worm in place. I have a size problem. At 14 pounds our guy was too big for the small one (barely could close it) so we ordered the large one. Now he's over 15 pounds, too small for her, and capable of escaping! I needed the velcro to go a little further around the back to secure it there firmly. They fit snugly straight out of the dryer, but after a night or two of squirming, they stretch way too much.
