I have another set of similar circles so I knew what to expect - they're not big circles the size of a washcloth, they're the same size as the little cotton balls you can buy in place of cotton balls or something . So I knew they would be small - about the size of a silver dollar. I use them to remove eye makeup and they do a very good job. I use these instead of disposable cotton balls or swabs, just apply eye makeup remover directly to the ball and wipe away. I use one side for each eye. They work very well if you know what to expect from the size. I also have makeup remover wipes and have found that using these eye makeup remover circles means the wipes don't have to be changed as often because they don't have as much makeup when i use them after removing my eye make-up. I gave this 4 stars because of the number you get in the box - 7 in total which is not that much. In contrast, the set I bought about a year ago contained 18 of these and a mesh bag for washing (it's a good place to keep the used ones until it's time to wash them all). So there aren't many in this set but they are good and good for replacing cotton balls/cartridges that you would otherwise throw away.
