Review on πŸŽ’ Osprey Tempest Women's Hiking Backpack: The Perfect Daypack for Hikers by Jenna Hicks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great size for a family of 5

My husband has an Osprey 22 which we use and love a lot, but it's not big enough for our family of 5. could fit light jackets for the two of us and our three small children, a bottle of water for each of us, some granola bars and our phones. It was packed to the brim, bulbous, and had to be strategically packed and repackaged to fit everything. This size 34 is the perfect size for all of the aforementioned stuff, but also gives us extra room for extra stuff. Snacks, cold weather or raincoat or extra water. It's still very comfortable for my back and not too heavy (especially after swapping my kids backpack for this one!). The quality is excellent and the material is durable. The adjustable shoulder straps are also great for comfortably fitting the backpack to my 5ft 7in height. Only thing to mention is that I prefer the 22 zipper at the top over the top flap, but that's not a deal breaker for me. I had a very similar day hike Osprey that I bought 15 years ago and this is still in great condition after hiking national parks and local trails. I assume that this one will last for the next 15+ years without any problems!

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
