Assembled per instructions. The instructions themselves did not help in some places (in particular the correct orientation of some parts was not clear). The last parts were very bad. The seat is held in place with dowels and screws that barely penetrate the underside of the seat. This presented a safety concern as when the seat is ripped off the exposed screws can injure very young children for whom this part is intended. To keep the seat from completely coming loose, I had to apply wood glue to the dowels, screws, and parts of the frame that come in contact with the seat. This is a very bad item that we are likely to discard in the near future. save your money
