This does not have any kind of strong boning to it. If you are looking for waist training, do not get this. If you are looking for a corset look without all the cinching, this is a great product. I would not recommend wrapping the laces around the waist to tie in the front - because there’s no boning, it created a dent around the waist forever more now, which looks terrible. Keep it nice and flat, don’t wrap the cord around. I also like a tight pull and knot so I swapped out the satin cord for a braided shoelace-like cord. The satin lace doesn’t knot tight enough to stay put. All in all, it’s a cute accessory, but not a true corset.
