Simply cut to size with (sharper) household scissors or a ruler or utility knife. As recommended, I used a rag to apply a large amount of soapy water to the glass surface. I didn't have a squeegee to remove the inevitable bubbles, but my plastic ruler worked wonders! I haven't tried removing it, but it's easy to reposition once applied. For the height of my sliding glass doors I had to assemble everything and it worked without any problems. I like the end result. Enough light and you can't see inside or outside the glass. Clean, modern look without the hassle of installing windows!
