Review on Xroose Wireless Recorder Motorhome CM1 by Levi Stewart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Solid unit, great for our purposes

I just installed this unit on our Winnebago Micro-Minnie as a backup camera and it works as expected. The camera is definitely a device that requires some assembly and comes with two cables, both with bare ends, to connect it in a way that suits your situation. I wired the camera to the circuit that powers the parking lights so that it turns on when the parking lights come on, whether you're reversing or driving down the road. The speed is sufficient off-road. Mounting the video screen was a bit of a challenge and my only wish is that the mounting hardware provided by Xroose for the screen allows it to move closer to the suction cup on the windscreen while maintaining the same angular flexibility. There's a rail on the back of the video screen that's obviously intended to mount some kind of bracket that's not included, but the metal bracket that's included works well and attaches securely to the ends of the video with small thumbscrews. Screen, although using the suction cup will move the back of the screen away from the window. We still have to test the camera's night vision and our first impression is very good.
