Not sure if it's real antique gold but it was close enough to the long tie around my husband's neck. It's not as yellow as the seller's photo, you decide. I chose the average size for our 3 year old boy according to the seller's size chart. It has a wide range of neck girth settings - again, just trust the measurements.
