Review on Adata XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB NVMe SSD with 3D NAND, Gen3x4 PCIe M.2 2280, R/W 3500/3000MB/s (ASX8200PNP-1TT-C) by Petar Atanasov-robi ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

I have attached some images of tests I ran with files that were 1 gigabyte (the default) and 16 gigabytes (to block the buffer). In the second scenario, the disk has already been utilized for several days, thus it is approximately fifty percent filled. The temperature ranged from 40 to 45 degrees Celsius when it was not under load, but it reached 58 degrees when it was. I did not waste any time and glued the radiator right away; nevertheless, taking into account its dimensions and shape, its usefulness is debatable.

Pros
  • First and foremost, the speed; it is noticeably quicker than SATA SSD (before, I had been making use of an OCZ Vertex 4 120 GB drive). It has a compact form factor, which is not especially essential to me because it will be installed in a full-fledged desktop.
