The clock does not set the time as instructed. It worked fine but didn't respond to the set (ground) switch to set the time. Update: The replacement sets the time accurately, but the backlight works like a spotlight and cannot be dimmed. Very bright and annoying at night. I have tried unplugging the "ignition wire" which turns off the backlight, but then the clock cannot be set, so this is not a valid solution. The "dimmer" wire connected to the car's light switch does not dim the backlight. I'm looking for alternatives. If you don't like really bright dashboard lights, this watch isn't for you.
