We purchased this item about six months ago and have used it for a couple of months. After a while we switched back to the 8" round head that came with the HOMELODY unit and found it offered a more comfortable rain shower. So I would argue that the performance of such a large showerhead depends on good pressure/flow, which some fittings may not offer.
