I have never needed glasses in my life, but last year (at 52) I realized that I had to wear shop glasses with a magnification of 1, 00 needed to read something nearby. Not wanting to go to a professional eye doctor, I was looking for an "affordable" pair of glasses that I could wear all the time without having to constantly wear 1.00 reading glasses to read up close, so bought one I this. My distance vision is still very good. I bought it and as soon as I put it on I noticed immediately that the transition lens had a "blurred out of focus area" which didn't work for me. This may work for others, but not for me. It's time to see an eye doctor for the right glasses!
