I've been wearing MBT shoes for about 14 years. I had plantar fasciitis walking my dog in cheap tennis shoes when I discovered MBT shoes. They have a slightly wobbly outsole (I think the theory is that you should feel like you're walking barefoot on sand or something) and the plantar fasciitis went away shortly after I bought my first pair! If I walk about 3-4 miles every day (EVERY DAY), I'll wear out the soles over time and have to buy a new pair. I believe the MBT company was sold a few years ago and it has become increasingly difficult to find a decent and not prohibitively expensive pair of MBT hiking boots. The description says "walking shoes" but the box actually says running and I think this shoe was designed for running rather than walking as the bottom of the rocker isn't as pronounced as on a pair of MBTs running shoes which I had. past. That being said I've been wearing these shoes for a few weeks now and my feet are still in good shape so it's a good walking shoe! I would recommend them to anyone who wants a good solid shoe (well maybe I shouldn't recommend them because then next time I need to buy them they will be sold out! LOL).
