Review on Panasonic HDC-SD80R HD Camcorder (Red) - SD Card technology (Discontinued model) by Marcus Akram

I've only had this camera for about a week and am still exploring its possibilities. I like that you can take a still frame from the video. I didn't know about this function before buying it. He shoots fantastic videos and the photos are good. However, photos are only recorded in 3 MP format. They are ok but not fantastic. I'm used to my 16 megapixel Kodak Z981 camera. HD Writer AE 3.0 is easy to use. With it, you can copy videos directly to DVD or to your computer. My only problem is that I need a new DVD player. On the old one I have a picture but no sound. I need one compatible with AVCHD. None of the reviews mention this. The videos should play on my computer or our HDTV with built in DVD player. This will be my next purchase as I love this camcorder! At the moment my computer is sufficient.
