Review on ASUS XG17AHPE Portable Adaptive Sync Micro HDMI 17.3", Full HD 1920x1080, 240Hz, HDMI, IPS Display by Kevin Storley

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Arrived crumpled and without a tripod.

The speaker was dented even though the box was "unopened". The maker's mark was questionable and I think someone resealed it. The sound quality doesn't seem to have deteriorated, it's just annoying that a new product has fallen into disrepair. The build quality of the soundbar doesn't appear to be the best, so there may have been a glitch in the packaging/assembly process. As for the advertised "High Definition Audio", no, the sound is muted and my iPhone 8Max's speaker is both louder and clearer... The screen works, for 1080p it's about as good as you would expect from a portable device. Wide viewing angle. Also works at lower framerates if you want to save battery/resources on your laptop. What really bothered me was the lack of a tripod. I paid for a tripod, I want a tripod. Give me a tripod... tripod :(
