I wasn't into the dock-up trend and never considered buying one. That was until I moved my 5 month old little girl from boppy to crib. She rolled over and woke up crying non-stop. Although she used to sleep well. There's no way I bought an expensive dock-up baby. So I found this nest. I read a review that said their 2 year old enjoyed the sun lounger as much as his 2 month old. So I thought it would be great for more than a few months. I've only had it for a few days but my little girl has been sleeping soundly since I started using it. The only odd thing about this item was the way it was packaged. It was boxed, so I had to unroll the foam pad a bit, flatten and fluff the cotton ring again, and let it sit for a few hours. Everything else is great! Addendum: The first wash went well. I have a top loading washing machine. I put the nest in separately, but removed the foam insert and washed everything together on a gentle cycle. The nest tissue covering succeeded; I even accidentally closed it. The foam insert didn't help. Slightly warped and cover cracked. At least it's just an insert. I don't put anything in the dryer, I dry children's things on a rope. I plan to still use it as my baby sleeps very well with it.
