As a teenager I would buy all my music on vinyl and then treat it like gold! I cleaned every album before playing not only to keep my igloo pristine but to get the best sound I could get from those albums and 45s every time! Yes, I was (and still am) so anal!  I have since gifted my albums to a family member who really appreciates the unique sound of vinyl, but my cleaning kit was no longer usable.
