Needed a large hard case to put a pair of sunglasses or reading glasses in and keep for my 92 year old mum even in the large bag the helpers use when she goes to appointments. It closes tightly, but she can open and close it herself despite her arthritis. This suitcase is large and well made. The beautiful pattern is a delight and it comes with a matching carry case and wipe. It's big, so if you need to carry your glasses in a smaller but less secure case, you can use a case, but it's made out of unreinforced fabric.
