As a performing arts teacher, I have used many types of candles to decorate special holiday candle rooms. They have become my absolute favourites. I ordered 4 dozen and all 48 candles charged quickly and worked perfectly. (The red light goes out when the candle is fully charged.) A few boxes had more white flames, while the other boxes had slightly more yellowish flames. Note that when mixing on stage, it's difficult to see a drastic difference, and they actually come across as more natural with little difference in flame. (All 12 candles in the box matched.) For the remote to work, note that your candle must be switched to the "on" position below. After turning on all the candles, I used the remote control to turn them all off. (Don't forget to remove the shipping tab from the remote's battery for it to work.) The students came onto the stage and when I wanted them all to light up for dramatic effect, I pressed the remote and everything lit up once up! You can use the remote control to dim and even flicker them in a variety of ways. They are perfect for any student to hold in the palm of their hand and the candles help light up any student's face. What a plus that you don't have to constantly buy batteries! Just plug it in and charge it to work. One remote control controls all lights, even when using more than one of twelve boxes. The candle also has no "front" or "back" so the remote controls the candle no matter which way it's pointed in the student's hands. They truly are every director's dream!
