Metallic taste: Thermos flasks
A set at a great price, very cool, stylish and modern. I can appreciate the price and ability of this kit to take me on a yerba mate journey. However, the first thing that struck me about bombilla and mate was that they severely interfered with yerba. Every time I poured another cup and took a sip, I had a very metallic taste in my mouth. I had to purse my lips so they wouldn't taste the tip of the bombilla. Also, the thermos couldn't last the duration of my cup of mate. I can appreciate that this thermos is listed for $19 regardless of the kit, but it is included. Having said that, I have to say that bombilla and squash make me want to buy more bombilla and squash elsewhere.
