Amazing value in my review

I was on the fence about this one because the pictures in the listing were a little suspect. I noticed one on sale for 50% due to damaged packaging, and decided to pull the trigger and get one. I was not disappointed! The build quality is quite impressive at this price point. The material is thick and durable and the stitching seems to be capable of holding everything together, though a couple of years on the mat will tell the true story there. Overall though, it is much better quality than what I expected it to be.I filled it mostly with recycled textile (clothing cut up to roughly hand-sized pieces). However, I did use some bags of sand and beans in the legs to give a little bit more weight and keep it as bottom heavy as possible. I would say it weighs around 100lbs. 70 inches also seems accurate for the height - I am 6’2” (74 inches) and I’m looking it in the forehead when I stand it up in front of me.A few things to take note of that aren’t necessarily apparent from the product page:There are three zippered openings - one down the back of the torso, and one each on the back of each thigh (not shown in pictures). These openings are covered also by a hook & loop flap. There are five openings that have to be "laced” closed like a football or pair of shoes. This can be a little tricky to do with it filled up and you will have to plan for how you want the stitching to go. The strings they send don’t have plastic ends (the ends of the strings are frayed) so you will either need to burn them to get them hard and pointy enough to get through the holes in the vinyl effectively, or you could buy some shoe/boot strings to lace it up with and avoid the hassle. Two of the laced openings are at the bottom of the legs - these are the easiest to close as you most likely will do this with it empty. The largest opening is along the crotch seam, which you lace after getting the legs mostly filled. Finally, each arm had a laced opening, and these are the most difficult to deal with. They are only a few inches wide and you have to fill the whole arm from the hole as the arms don’t have an opening connecting them to the main torso at the base.As previously stated, I am overall impressed with the build quality and am confident this will serve me well for awhile. For the price you really couldn’t ask for more.

One of the best grappling dummies I''ve purchased! I do a lot of boxing/wrestling and I''m very impressed by the quality of these, especially at this price. The material is sturdy and the dummy itself is standard sized. The gyms are still closed where I''m at so this is a good purchase for those who wanna practice at home.
