I bought this to replace my two step stool. I was moving into a house with vaulted ceilings and needed something higher to dust the ceiling fans and a few light fixtures. Yesterday I dusted the lamp, stood on the second step, went down, missed the bottom step and fell on my back on the tile floor. The problem for me is that the width of this lower step is a bit narrower than my other stools that I'm used to. I was expecting the step to stick out as much as this stool, but it doesn't! I am currently recovering and moving slowly.
