DO NOT BUY! I wish there could be 0 stars for this item. I bought it because I needed to pick up a rescue cat in New York and then fly him back. First, I've had several carrier bags in the past, but because they're so flimsy, it's almost impossible to get a cat into this carrier bag and snap it shut in time. Second, the carrier doesn't hold its shape and keeps falling on the cat, who would get quite upset at the need to be in the carrier in the first place. Third, it didn't even fit under the seat in front of me! Despite the fact that it was supposedly approved by American Airlines, and I flew on an American Airlines flight! When I tried to slide it under the seat, the only way I could get in was to push on the back of the stroller. which basically just got the wearer mad at the cat, who understandably continued to try hard to get out of it. and almost managed to unzip twice. I ended up having to put the stretcher on my lap - I was lucky the flight was only 2 hours. Finally, after all the flights and finally packing the stretcher in my car for the two hour drive home (all the while he meowed). the cat could turn the stretcher over several times. each time forced me to stop at the side of the freeway. Each time he was really angry that he hurt himself. If I could, I would sue the company for emotional distress.
