When unfolded it makes a fairly sturdy medium sized camping table. Interlocking swivel hooks ensure it stays strong and doesn't try to fold back into its shipping shape. The top has a smooth, mold-like surface that is easy to clean. The secondary storage area (grid with clips) works well for storing more stuff than the countertop can hold, as long as the item stored there doesn't tip over. Keep the packing box for extra table protection when traveling to and from camping trips. I use it for astronomical observations of the stars.
