Highly recommended! Bought this for my 6 month old pup as a backup in case he doesn't listen to his commands while we play in the field next to my apartment. The field is next to the road so I figured it would be a great option should he run outside! I taught him the alarm and vibration settings. and he hasn't had to use a shock yet because he's handling it well! So we first made a warning voice command, then an alarm, and then a vibration. Battery life is great! We only need to charge it every two weeks, but I'm sure it depends on usage.
