Broke first wash - cradle bedding

I bought these for my dog's orthopedic bed to make it easier to wash. The side seam came undone after the first wash. I thought it would pass, it would be due to a chewing accident, but they loved it. It's a beautiful design and I'll sew it up and keep it, but it might not be great if you want to use it as part of your child's room aesthetic.
