My cat ate Fancy Feast for 15 years. He used to like pies except fish because he has a severe fish allergy. Once, after eating his favorite chicken and liver pâté, he became very ill. I found they changed the recipe and added fish. So I switched to Gravy Lovers because there was no fish in the ingredients. Today, after a week of diarrhea, I discovered that the very latest beef sauce lovers have fish! They seem to be starting to use fish as a filler in their diet. Well I have at least a $100 unopened Fancy Feast that needs to be donated to a local animal shelter now and I will be looking for another brand. I'm angry with Purina for this problem! The least they can do is put fish in the head on the front of the can. It's listed in microscopic letters on the back of the jar as part of the ingredients. I see that the ingredient list on this product page now includes fish, but who will notice after years of trusting this product? I know I'm not the only one allergic to fish. If I hadn't noticed, he would probably be dead soon. If your cat starts vomiting, has diarrhea, or refuses to eat this food, check the ingredients, especially if you're feeding her Fancy Feast! Too bad they used to trust their food but now after fooling me twice this will not happen again!
