Great shoes but slippery and hard

These shoes look great! They are a bit stiff and take a while to break. One issue is that there is almost no grip on the bottom so it's very slippery and also the shoe isn't very flexible so it rubs a bit on my ankles. Otherwise, reach down and put on some thick socks and you'll be fine.
