I bought my husband knee pads from Blue Box and he was very happy with them. I bought a second pair to carry around his big pickup truck. However, when these knee pads arrived and he realized how much better they fit, he immediately asked for a second pair of THESE knee pads and left his knee pads to his buddy to use while he helped him. lol why? As he explained to me, most knee pads sit just behind the knee and bunch up. They fit on 2 straps, one above the knee, the other below the knee. Look at the front of these knee pads, do you see some kind of "hinge"? My husband says it gives him much better protection and support and they are much more comfortable. He made me a believer! Now that I know what to look for, it's easy to tell the difference - something I haven't seen on any other set of knee pads here at Revain or in a retail store. 5 stars - highly recommended! And yes, I bought him a second pair.
