Review on 🎧 High-Definition Sound Isolation In-Ear Headphones - SOUL SL99 (Discontinued by Manufacturer) by Jennifer Phillips

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great in-ear headphones

Before I explain the 5 star rating I want to say that I don't usually like noise isolating headphones, they just never seem worthy to me and I keep going back to cheap Apple headphones , and while they're not perfect, I feel like the pros outweigh the cons. For the price I got ($50) the sound quality is worth it, like most inner ear headphones that isolate noise they tend to fall out, now I've only tried 2 of the 3 ear tips they give you , while the small and medium fall out when I'm doing anything other than walking or stationary exercise. So cardio or intense workouts still suffer from constantly distracting headphones. This is why I have a hard time turning them off, for one thing there are replacement tips for pretty cheap ones that fit your ear better, and for another I figured that would be the case anyway since I've tried the other isolated headphones. So I will most likely try to find the best fit. Now for the good. I've been curious about "HD" headphones for a while, tried the Beats brand in stores and found better sound quality than my regular headphones, but the price is too high for someone who accidentally ruins a pair of headphones. a year later not to mention I chose the worst sounding but (to me) more comfortable headphones as I use mine at work I prefer not to wear huge over ear headphones. I'm not overly picky about the sound, but I can tell a difference in quality between some headphones. A friend of mine likes to use sub $10 headphones which I think are a lot worse than my apple headphones which are often pretty bad on their own so the transition from apples to them is very good. I never thought it would make a big difference for me but the sound is much clearer and this time after many tries with isolated headphones I can actually turn down the volume as they claim while still hearing the music well enough to please me. These are loud headphones, I used my Apple headphones at full volume most of the time to using these just over half the time so I think my ears will thank me for that. I never thought I'd buy two pairs of headphones, but I think if I can't find earbuds that fit better I'll just use my Apple or some other cheaper brand for training (if quality isn't that important) and Use them at another time. As with most headphones with mics/controllers on Android devices, only one button works due to Apple's headphone jacks. The mic also didn't check until it called. Everything works as expected on my iPod, although the buttons are responsive, although I fear the controller will suffer the fate of water getting in and breaking it. $ They were stolen. I think they're usually worth $100 even at this price point. I think they're worth it, but I haven't checked many other brands in this price range that might offer a better price, as far as I know Beatniks have $150 headphones that sound about the same.
